For
Teachers who want to earn a Master of Arts in Education with LDTC Endorsement. If you have a master’s degree specifically in education (special education and reading also considered) and have 3 years of teaching experience under your standard license, you can earn the LDTC Endorsement only.
What You Learn
The LDTC endorsement program prepares teachers to work in collaboration with other members of a child study team in public schools to determine eligibility for special services. LDTCs also consult with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to provide research-based instructional strategies to assist pupils who are struggling academically.
How You Learn
Courses are offered in both an asynchronous and synchronous online format with weekly evening Zoom classes determined by each professor. Typically, students take one course at a time, taking two, eight-week courses each semester (Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters).
Career Outcomes
Prepares you to serve in consultancy roles as a specialist in assessing the needs of students with disabilities.
