Those looking to earn their Masters in Education and earn their initial licensure for Cross-Categorical Special Education through the State of Wisconsin. Candidates for this program will need to have earned their bachelor’s degree in order to be enrolled in this program.

Special Education is an evolving and dynamic field. Concordia prepares you to provide the specially designed instruction that children with a wide range of disabilities need to thrive as students. This program allows you to earn both WI DPI license #2801 and a master’s degree.

Earn your initial licensure (WI DPI-Cross Categorical Special Education #2801) while earning a Master of Science in Education -Teaching and Learning. You will be endorsed to teach grades 4K-12 in cross categorical special education. Teacher candidates are prepared to be successful; in all environments to meet the learning needs of children: public, private, and parochial.
