What You Learn

In this program, you will learn effective leadership skills, principles of governance, and the central role of parents in education. In addition to experiences in the management of schools, you will also focus on applicable legal issues, supervision and the management of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The program culminates with two rigorous practicum experiences. You’ll be mentored by a school leader and supervised by a member of the Mount faculty.

How You Learn

Most courses are offered in an 8-week format and are available fully online. You will complete two semesters of practicum focused on the day-to-day needs that arise within a school and build a portfolio that reflects experiences related to relevant national and state leadership standards.
